THE ADDAMS FAMILY
JUNE 2022

The AE staff once again put together a fabulous show in just three short weeks of summer camp. Unlike the last summer's production of BATB, The Addams Family was a full-length production. This show was so motivated by the kids participating: actors, tech crew, choreography, etc. and it all turned out super beautiful and memorable.
"So let’s be happy, forever happy, completely happy... And a tiny bit... Sad…"

THE 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE
APRIL 2021
LIVE THEATRE!
This was so exciting for everyone to work on because it was the first time most of the cast and crew had been back in the theatre since one year before. It was a really fun show that I had the pleasure of working tech and running sound for at HCC.

MARY POPPINS
APRIL 2019
And the MVP goes to... STAGE CREW!
This show had an incredible number of very quick scene changes and our crew was AMAZING. Honestly chose this show for something "easier"-- no animals, crazy costumes, ships, magic caterpillars or magic genies, etc. Ended up being extremely challenging and rewarding and the kids were incredible performers!
"Anything can happen if you let it!"
ALICE IN WONDERLAND
FEBRUARY 2017
The funniest show with the funniest kids. This is a show about imagination and dreams and it ended up being better than anything I'd ever imagined or dreamed. The kids did a fantastic job bringing this to life. A really special thing about this show was seeing so many young actors really find their love of theatre.
"Maybe somehow, if the world could run on dreams and make-believe and fun, our world would be a Wonderland."
THE BIG BAD MUSICAL
FEBRUARY 2015
This show was a huge learning experience for everyone involved. It ended up being entertaining, but it was a rocky transition into what would become an extremely successful program.
"May all your ever-afters be filled with joy and laughter."

CHRISTMAS MUSICALS
2010-2019
The annual Christmas play at SJS was a favorite of the students, families, faculty, and community. These were the perfect way to start the holiday season and offered a great opportunity for students to prepare to be in the spring musicals.
"Anything can happen here! Anything can happen!"
BEAUTY & THE BEAST
JULY 2021

Presented by Artistic Endeavors and Musselman High School, Beauty and the Beast was a great experience for the community as it had been quite some time since they'd done a live performance, specifically a musical. The kids at the camp worked together wonderfully and I enjoyed my first production with AE and the staff.

THE LION KING
WINTER 2020
The show that never was...
After weeks of rehearsal and with an opening scheduled for the first weekend in April, we were shut down on March 13, just three weeks before opening night. After a few hopeful weeks of online rehearsals and read-throughs, it was finally and regretfully let go.
"And where the journey may lead me, let your prayers be my guide. Though it may take me so far away, I'll remember my pride."
THE LITTLE MERMAID
APRIL 2018
One of our favorite shows. The kids, costumes, scenery, props, and the show itself-- everything was amazing. Loved every minute of working on this one.
"What do they got? A lot of sand?! We got a hot crustacean band! Each little clam here know how to jam, here, under the sea!"
ALADDIN
FEBRUARY 2016
The first "big show" at SJS. This was the first MTI show that we did and we were incredibly pleased with the results. This group of kids was totally ready to take on a big project and they really came through. Lots of talent was uncovered here. It set us up for a great for a great future and gave many kids the opportunity to truly fall in love with theatre.
"Let me share this whole new world with you."
EVERYTHING'S GROOVY
MAY 2014
After several years of successful Christmas program with talented elementary-aged students, we decided to venture into the world of music theatre with a middle school play. It was a small cast and I ended up directing AND performing, which was super stressful! Grateful for this learning opportunity!
"Everything is GROOVY!"
